Less suited when

  • Anyone who only wants eco-lodges or villas
  • When fast refunds on last-minute cancellations matter most

Strengths

  • Wide coverage of domestic flight, train and bus routes plus some international flights
  • Side-by-side price comparison across airlines and bus operators
  • Hotel booking alongside tickets without leaving the app
  • Fees and taxes shown separately before payment

Opportunities for improvement

  • Can improve by automating refund connections with transport operators to shorten turnaround times
  • Opportunity to ensure tighter fare locks during high-demand booking checkouts
  • Room to expand phone support bandwidth during peak holiday travel rush periods
Verdict

For domestic ticket booking and quick price comparison, Alibaba.ir is a solid choice; for eco-lodges and villas, Jabama is usually the better pick.

What Alibaba.ir actually is

Alibaba.ir is an online travel agency that sells domestic flight, train and bus tickets, some international flights, and hotel bookings through one app and site.

What you pay and what you get

Ticket prices come from the airlines and transport operators, and Alibaba.ir's service fee is usually shown separately at checkout; hotel pricing shows the nightly rate and taxes transparently too.

Where it is strong

Route coverage and the ability to compare several options on one screen are Alibaba.ir's main strengths, especially against smaller agencies that sell only one ticket type. On the hotel side, Snapptrip follows a similar model.

How it can improve, and what we could not verify

Cancellation refunds depend more on the destination airline or hotel's policy than on Alibaba.ir itself, which means refund speed is not always in the platform's control. Alibaba.ir does not publish exact cancellation rates or average refund times.

Questions about Alibaba.ir

Does Alibaba.ir only sell flight tickets?

No, train and bus tickets and domestic and international hotel booking are also available on the same app and site.

How long does a refund take on Alibaba.ir?

It depends on the airline or hotel's refund policy, and Alibaba.ir does not publish an exact timeframe.

Alibaba.ir or Snapptrip for a hotel?

Both offer hotels and stays; Alibaba.ir sells the route ticket alongside the hotel on the same screen, which is convenient for a combined flight-and-stay trip.
