How a SeeMetric score is produced

Before you trust a number, read where it comes from.

Method

  • Criteria are chosen per category before any option is scored, and they are the same for every option in that category.
  • Each option gets a 0 to 100 value per criterion, set by the Seemerce team as an editorial assessment based on public information (sources and dates where shown). The overall score is the weighted mean of those values.
  • Order is decided by the score alone: not alphabetically, not by the date an option was added.
  • Every review highlights at least one opportunity for improvement. An option with no improvement note listed does not publish.
  • The scale is global: 90 and above means the best in the world on that criterion, not only in one country.

What this table does not say

  • Prices and terms change fast. A score is a snapshot of the day it was assessed.
  • Your experience can differ from the average. One slow support reply does not move a score.
  • An option missing from a list is not bad. It has not been assessed yet.
  • Disclosure: Seemerce is developing products in some of these same areas (Seemerce Infinity). Scores are editorial assessments by Seemerce based on public information. Companies can send corrections or a reply to mahdiparto94@gmail.com.
  • Names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them; Seemerce is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
  • Scores are Seemerce's editorial assessments from public information; each platform page shows when its assessment was last edited.
  • Each platform has one worldwide score, and picking a country only narrows the list. Where a service is clearly different in one country, a separate local score for that country is measured and stated on the page.

Questions about SeeMetric

What is SeeMetric?

SeeMetric is the Seemerce comparison system for platforms and services in Iran and around the world. Every category has a fixed set of criteria, every option is scored on all of them, and the overall score is computed from those values. You can view the comparison worldwide or for a single country.

Are the scores sponsored?

No. Nobody pays to be listed or to move up. If a commercial relationship ever exists, it is disclosed in the body of the review.

How often are reviews updated?

Each assessment shows when it was last updated. New options are added gradually, and we aim to update an option when its terms visibly change. If something looks out of date, tell us through the “Report a correction” link on that page.

What is the difference between the worldwide view and a country view?

The worldwide view ranks every option from every country together. Picking a country keeps only the options that serve that country and re-ranks them among themselves. Each option has the same score in both views, unless its quality in that country is clearly different; then a local score is stated on the page.

Can I compare two specific options?

Yes. On any category page, tick up to four options and press "Show in table"; the criterion table narrows to those columns.
