What Taskrabbit actually is
Taskrabbit started in Boston in 2008 and was bought by IKEA in 2017. You describe the job, choose a Tasker by rate and reviews, and pay after the work is done, what Achareh does in Iran.
What you pay and what you get
Each Tasker sets an hourly rate, and service and trust fees are added. Payment runs through the app after the job.
Where it is strong
Fast booking and transparent rates and reviews make small home jobs easy. IKEA furniture assembly is a particular strength.
How it can improve, and what we could not verify
Total cost is higher than a local handyman. The countries listed are only those where Taskrabbit's presence was clear; city coverage within each country is incomplete.
