What AliExpress actually is
AliExpress is Alibaba Group's retail marketplace for buyers outside China. Chinese factories and sellers sell straight to the end customer, and cutting out the middleman is the main reason it is cheap.
What you pay and what you get
Item prices are low, but shipping, waiting time and, in some countries, taxes and customs are part of the real price. Choice items ship faster and have simpler return terms.
Where it is strong
For phone accessories, tools, electronic parts and hobby goods, few places match its range and prices. Buyer protection refunds you when an item does not arrive or is not as described.
How it can improve, and what we could not verify
Delivery time ranges from days to weeks depending on country and shipping method, and is hard to predict. Only earlier buyers' reviews tell you the real quality. AliExpress does not ship to Iran and is absent from the Iran view.
