The functional spec of the output
A text prompt is fed into the system and a track is returned, with vocals or purely instrumental; a section can also be selected and regenerated in isolation while the rest of the file remains unchanged. Minimum generation length is three seconds, maximum is five minutes. Languages are not fully enumerated: the documentation names English, Spanish, German, Japanese "and more", so no precise list is available to publish.
Two additional modules are implemented that are less common in this category: an audio-reference input, where a short clip is injected to apply its style to a new generation, and model fine-tuning on a user own tracks, under the name Music Finetunes. Both modules are active on paid plans only.
The real cost, on a per-minute basis
The pricing architecture runs on credits, and the conversion rate is documented: 900 credits per minute of music. The Starter plan allocates 30,000 credits a month, roughly 33 minutes of music; the Creator plan allocates 121,000, roughly 134 minutes.
Pricing: Starter is $6 a month on monthly billing, or the equivalent of $5 a month on annual billing (the documentation describes this as paying for ten months and getting two free). Creator is $22. One parameter runs opposite to both rivals, in this system favor: unused credits roll over for up to two months, whereas at Suno and Udio credits zero out at the end of the cycle.
One operational constraint to account for before signing up: the free tier generates no music at all. Per the vendor own limits table, music concurrency capacity for the free tier is defined as zero, and the Music API is open to paid subscribers only. So even initial evaluation requires payment, unlike Suno, Udio and Flow Music.
Rights, the clearest in this category
The documentation specifies that Eleven Music was built in collaboration with labels, publishers and artists and is cleared for nearly all commercial uses: film and television, podcasts, social video, advertising and gaming. In this category, that is the clearest statement any vendor has published about usage rights. Suno grants commercial rights only on its paid plan, and for Udio and Flow Music no such statement was found.
Where the benchmark shows weakness
Vocals. It scores 1,069 on the vocals board against Suno 1,171, and 1,063 on the instrumental board against 1,188. So if the song itself, with vocals, is the final deliverable, this is not the first choice. Where it performs strongly is music under picture: track length up to five minutes, clear commercial rights, and an API that connects into a user own software.
From Iran
The only vendor in this category whose documentation registers the name Iran. The export-control clause in its terms has the user warrant they are not located in a country under US sanctions, and Iran is on the list it names. That means no official signup or payment route exists from Iran. This platform sells no accounts and proposes no route around the restriction.
