Gemini and Guided Learning

Gemini is Google chat application, and for studying it runs a dedicated subsystem: Guided Learning, which generates a question instead of delivering an answer, assesses the user knowledge level and produces a recap at the end of each session. A pipeline for study guides, flashcards and quizzes is also implemented, but converting a user own sources into a podcast or a video overview sits within Gemini Notebook operational scope, not this system.

What Guided Learning actually changes at the operational level

Google deployed the mode in the Gemini app in September 2025. What distinguishes it from the standard mode is one simple parameter: the final answer is not delivered. The problem is decomposed into executable steps, the user comprehension is queried between steps, and a closing recap is generated with a suggested next step. The underlying model is LearnLM, which Google states is fine-tuned for learning.

In practice, submit a math problem and instead of the answer, the relevant concept is retrieved and the process proceeds with the user toward the result. Under the exam-tomorrow use case, that runs slower. Under the mastery use case, that same slowness is part of the learning process.

What is not implemented in Gemini

Google own documentation is explicit: the Studio-panel outputs, meaning audio overview, video overview and infographic, remain implemented in Gemini Notebook architecture, and Gemini cannot generate them. A user notebooks render in the Gemini sidebar and sync bidirectionally, but a notebook shared with another party does not display in Gemini at all.

The file ceiling also differs: ten files per prompt, each capped at 100MB, video up to 2GB. On a standard account, total video length is capped at five minutes and audio at ten, rising to one hour and three hours on the paid tiers. Sufficient for a single query; not sufficient for processing a full course.

Persian and Iran

Persian is registered on the Gemini web app supported-language list, and per Google documentation the app is deployed across more than 70 languages and over 230 countries and territories. Iran is not on that country list. The one-year free Gemini Pro offer for students, per Google own statement, has been activated only in a limited set of countries, and Iran is not among them.

Buying direct from the vendor not from Iran

Iran is not registered on the list of countries and languages where Gemini is available. The paid Gemini plan is distributed through Google One, so the gift-card route is only operational if in-app purchase is active for that account, which has not been independently confirmed.

Bitrefill virtual Visa and Mastercard prepaid card Bitrefill issues virtual prepaid cards for crypto: a Digital Prepaid Visa in the $20 to $1000 range and a Virtual Prepaid Mastercard in the $20 to $500 range. It accepts Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, USDC, USDT, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana, and several other cryptocurrencies. Unlike a reseller-market account, whatever you sign up for with this card is in your own ownership from the first moment. A prepaid card is not a full substitute for a real credit card. Some services reject prepaid BIN ranges and the payment fails with no clear error message; next month's automatic renewal also fails if the card balance is insufficient, cutting the subscription off mid-cycle. Any balance left on the card is usually not withdrawable.
Apple and Google Play gift cards gift card When the subscription is purchased from inside the mobile app, the amount is deducted from the App Store or Google Play balance rather than a bank card. A gift card is tied to a country: a US card only loads into a US account of that same store, and if your account region is anything else the code is not redeemable and carries no refund. Buying from inside an app is usually more expensive than buying directly from the vendor's site, and some services do not sell an in-app subscription at all. Bitrefill's catalogue also carries no direct OpenAI, Anthropic, or Midjourney gift card, so this route only serves subscriptions that are genuinely sold through the App Store or Google Play.
Plati.market reseller market A Russian digital-goods marketplace made up of independent sellers. AI subscriptions are on its catalogue too, and its front page lists ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, and Grok, most tagged for automatic delivery. Prices display in rubles, dollars, euros, and hryvnia. The purchase runs through an anonymous seller, not the vendor. What is delivered is usually access to an account that is not in your ownership, and nearly every one of these services' terms of use prohibits account transfer, meaning the account can be reclaimed or suspended at any moment with no appeal channel. The seller retains the account password and recovery email, so treat anything entered into that account as non-confidential.

Technical verdict

If the task is a coursework query and the goal is learning rather than answer retrieval, enabling Guided Learning is the logical choice; the slowness that registers as friction at first is part of the process. But if the source material is a full package of notes and papers, this system is not engineered for that and Gemini Notebook is the fit.
