What Digikala actually is
Digikala is both a retailer and a marketplace: it sells some products directly and hosts thousands of third-party sellers for the rest. That mix puts nearly every product category, from phones to appliances to groceries, under one roof.
What you pay and what you get
Sellers set their own prices, not Digikala, so the same item can list at several different prices. Items marked as fulfilled by Digikala ship from its own warehouses and tend to arrive faster with simpler support; everything else depends on the seller's own timing.
Where it is strong
Digikala's logistics in Tehran and major cities are reliable, and express delivery genuinely works. The seven-day return window is shown clearly in the app, and buyer reviews under each listing are genuinely useful. A rival like Basalam doesn't come close on general product range.
How it can improve, and what we could not verify
Returns on third-party items are inconsistent in speed and packaging quality. Digikala alone isn't enough to find the lowest price, Torob is worth checking alongside it. Digikala does not publish a verifiable figure for active sellers or annual sales volume, so none is used here.
