What Karlancer actually is
Karlancer is a marketplace for outsourcing freelance projects in Iran: design, programming, content and dozens of other specialties. An employer posts a project, freelancers submit price and time bids, and the employer picks one.
What you pay and what you get
Karlancer's core mechanism is "secure payment": the employer deposits the project amount upfront, and it sits with the platform until the work is delivered and approved. The fee deducted from the freelancer is 10 percent on the free plan and drops with a paid plan; installment payment is available for larger projects.
Where it is strong
This escrow model lowers financial risk for both sides compared to a direct agreement with payment upfront. A rival such as Ponisha has a similar mechanism, though its fee structure and interface differ.
How it can improve, and what we could not verify
Because freelancer sign-up has little strict filtering, skill level varies widely and employers need to check portfolios and past ratings themselves. Karlancer does not publish official figures on how fast support resolves payment or quality disputes, so that could not be confirmed for this review.
